Is MyEClone secure?
Yes. Documents and information entered in MyEClone is fully encrypted and only the user has access to it. Document images uploaded to user's own Google Drive are encrypted as well, and can only be accessed using the MyEClone app.
Is it possible to delete my information? Is it permenantly deleted?
Yes and yes. You may delete individual document or delete your entire account by using the delete account option. The information saved in our databases will be deleted permanently. If you use Google driveas storage option, MyEClone will attempt to delete it as well, however since we rely on Google programs to delete such information, it is suggested that users to make sure that information is deleted. They can always manually delete it by accessing their google drive.
Is the information encrypted?
Yes. MyEClone uses Firebase end to end encryption plus our own algorithm to encrypt the data and images in the cloud database. At any time, this information is accessible only to the respective user.
I can't Login, what could be wrong?
Please check your user id and password entered are correct. Try resetting password by clicking "forgot password" link. If the problem persist, please email to MyECloneapp@gmail.com.
I didn't receive the verification code, what could be wrong?
Verification codes (or One Time Passcode - OTP) are sent out via email or text message. Check your email's scam folder to check if the emails from MyEClone are not landing there. If problem persist, please try using a different email ID. If still not working, please email us at MyECloneapp@gmail.com
What information is shared when I use Google Login?
MyEClone gets your name, picture and email ID from google when you chose Google Login.
What if I forget my user ID? Can I recover it?
Unfortunately, forgotten user IDs are non recoverable. This is intentionally done for security purposes. Users are advised to enable biometrics or check "remember me" checkbox on the login screen for convenience. Users should also save the email verifications sent by MyEClone in order to remember their user ID, which is their email ID.
How can I enable or disable Biometrics?
By setting it ON or OFF in their settings. It is advised that users use biometrics as it adds convenience and security to access their account.
How can I enter my document information?
There are many ways users can create and update many types of documents. By clicking "+" icon on the navigation bar, users will see following 4 options:
Scan Document - To scan one document with maximum 5 images. Recommended when you have only one document to upload, which has up to 5 pages.
Manual Entry - Users can create and update a document entry with or without an image.
Upload from Device - A convenient way to upload when users have multiple document images saves on their devices.
What are storage options?
MyEClone offers flexibility for users to select their own storage options.
MyEClone Cloud (Default) - This is a default storage option where all user documents will be stored in our database. The information is fully encrypted and secured, accessible by the user only.
Fully Encrypted Google Drive - User can optionally select to upload the document images to their own Google Drive. The information is fully encrypted.
What are "Bulk Scan"?
Currently not available - A convenient way to upload when user has multiple documents and images to upload.
Can I get automated information from my bank into document?
No. This feature is not available at this point, but as the governments and financial institutions mature with digital access, we will build this feature for our users.
How can I share a document with someone else?
Currently not available - You can do so by using the share option on the document detail screen. You may share it with recipient via email or SMS / Text. The document being shared willbe packaged in a PDF document and sent over.
Why can't I see my saved documents?
This is possible if you are using multiple storage options. Please note that documents are saved to your current storage option. Although it is possible that a user can use multiple stoage options, for efficiency and accuracy of the application, we advise users to use only storage option of their choice. If user wishes to switch the storage option, they should re-load their documents in the new storage and delete from the old storage.
What if I don't find a right event type for the event that I wish to enter?
You may try "other" type, which let's user add any data fields they want to enter for a particular event.
Why do I get so many notifications?
MyEClone has a built in notification engine that constantly works for you to keep your documents and records up to date. It sends notification when user attention is required. Users may choose to turn the push notifications off from their phone settings. Users can always access their notifications in the app (Bell icon), and take necessary action.
Why do I have to pay for certain features?
MyEClone offers many free features which are sufficient for many users to use the application. In future, MyEClone will be offering certain VIP features for added security and convenience at a very reasonable price. This revenue helps us sustaining our services.
Is my Credit Card or Payment information safe?
Currently not offered - Yes. MyEClone uses a third-party payment gateway services to process your payments. Any Credit Card or Payment preferences stored are fully encrypted and only the user has access to it.
What is your refund policy?
All purchases or subscriptions are non-refundable.
How can I change my billing preferences?
Currently not offered - You may change it using the Billing screen. By default, your subscriptions are set for auto renewal. You may disable it using the billing screen. You will continue to enjoy you paid subscription until end of the paid up term.
